The IP Address no longer appears when using Device Manager in the NightHawk app. It does show the MAC Address (but this isn't helpful to me). The business reason is I bring my work laptop home (daily) and it is set for DHCP so the IP Address will change from time to time so I try to remote into it with the last known IP Address but when that doesn't work (because a different IP Address was assigned) I used to go into the Nighthawk app, find the device name and click on it to get the new IP Address. It is no longer showing, instead it is only showing the MAC address. I don't care if the app will show both the IP Address and the MAC Address but I really need the IP Address to be shown (again). It used to show, not sure when it changed. What I have to do now is log into the laptop and do an ipconfig command which is a pain.29Views0likes5CommentsLOGON TIMED OUT. PLEASE TRY AGAIN.
Hello Netgear. Having a difficult time as I cannot login to the app anymore because of immediate timeout? What is happening and how to change it fix this issue? I can sheet logon on a desktop but this app just stopped working. I need three app to let me back in. Does a Netgear mesh, which is plugged in somewhere else inn home, blocking this? Hello. I have a R9000 Netgear Nighthawk Router and since yesterday after doing a factory reset have been unable to login from the app on iOS. Been fine since 2021 but not anymore. My phone has nothing on to prevent this. It constantly goes to LOGON TIMED OUT. PLEASE TRY AGAIN. I can access the router on a desktop but I need the app to work. Since one month I am trying to Login with ID and password but each time error coming " Logon time out please try again , if issue persists, try rebooting your device" I have rebooted the device , uninstalled and installed mobile app but no use , also I off the private wifi address and Limit IP address Tracking but still no Use. I have a NightHawk C7000v2 modem/router that will not work without my AC-750 Smart WiFi Router model R6400 and when I try to update the firmware that is out of date I keep getting "The information you are about to send is not secure" and won't allow me to update. I can't update manually, or I don't think I can,and I'm at wits end to try and figure out what I'm doing wrong or not doing. Issue seems to be with the latest iOS version. Here's how I fixed it: You need an older iOS device. I used my kids' iPad running iOS 15.7 On the older device, install Orbi app and login to your netgear account Without Anywhere Access, login to your router (admin / <password>) You should have logged in successfully Go to Settings -> Anywhere Access You should see Anywhere Access is enabled If so, Disable and Enable it. I have different profiles setup for different device types on my network and since an update or two ago, the app will randomly error when I try to move some devices between profiles. Others move just fine, some will give me a repeated “unable to add device to profile” error.
